Bind Us Together With Love!
"Since God chose you to be the holy people whom he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. You must make allowance for each other's faults and forgive the person who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. And the most important piece of clothing you must wear is love. Love is what binds us all together in perfect harmony." (Colossians 3:12-14 NLT)
Even Christians have faults! Christians even hurt each other! Yet, we must forgive and seek unity. How? The love of God is "what binds us together".
Prayer: "Lord, empower me to forgive others like You forgave me. Bind us together with love! In Jesus' Name, Amen."
Blessings!

God Is For Us!
"If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all - how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?" (Romans 8:31-32)
Warren Wiersbe wrote, "In His person and providence, God is for us. Sometimes, like Jacob, we lament, 'all things are against me' (Genesis 42:36), when actually everything is working for us. The conclusion is obvious: If God be for us, who can be against us?"
Believer, do you feel like everything is against you? Rest in the fact that your Father wants the best for you. He is at work in your life.
Prayer: "Lord, thank you for proving your love on the cross! Help me to rest in Your goodness. In Jesus' Name, Amen."
Blessings!

"They Shall See God!"
"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." (Matthew 5:8)
There are several people I would like to see. Family members who died before I was born. Famous people, Bible characters, etc...but, imagine seeing God!
The pure in heart (the saved!) shall see God! Praise His Name!
Prayer: "Lord, thank you for saving me and purifying my heart. I look forward to the day when I will meet you and look upon your face! In Jesus' Name, Amen."
Blessings!

Watch God Work!
"Moses answered the people, do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring to you today." (Exodus 14:13)
The Israelites saw the Egyptian army pursuing them. They were overwhelmed with fear and began to panic. Moses encouraged them to stand firm and watch God deliver them from the enemy.
Chuck Swindoll said, "problems are opportunities in disguise".
Are you experiencing a frightening situation? Don't be afraid. Stand firm and watch God work!
Prayer: "Lord, remove my fears and replace them with faith! In Jesus' Name, Amen!"

Be Merciful
"Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy." (Matthew 5:7)
Believers are merciful to others. "The believer does not show mercy to obtain mercy, he shows it because he has obtained mercy." (Liberty Commentary)
"Mercy" or showing mercy (merciful) is a characteristic of the saved. Are you merciful?
Prayer: "Lord, thank you for showing mercy to me when you forgave me. May I show mercy to others! In Jesus' Name, Amen."

God Sustains His People
"Listen to me, O house of Jacob, all you who remain of the house of Israel, you whom I have upheld since you were conceived, and have carried since your birth. Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you." (Isaiah 46:3-4)
God promised to sustain the "house of Jacob". He also promises to sustain all believers. I Peter 5:7 reads; "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you".
Believer, God is in control of your circumstances. He will sustain you! Give your burdens to Him!
Prayer: "Lord, thank you for carrying me and sustaining me through my difficult circumstances. Help me rely on You! In Jesus' Name, Amen."
Blessings!

Fearful? Take A Good Look At The Birds! (Part 2)
"Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father and even the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So, don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows." (Matthew 10:29-31)
"Don't be afraid" (of persecutions as a result of sharing the gospel, 10:17). God is in control of your life. Not even a sparrow falls to the ground without God's knowledge and will (29).
Share your faith today!
Prayer: "Lord, thank you for saving me. Give me boldness to share you with others today. In Jesus' Name, Amen!"

Fearful? Take A Good Look At The Birds! (Part 1)
"Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father and even the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So, don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows." (Matthew 10:29-31)
Sparrows are small common birds. They are not very colorful and seem to blend in with other types of birds. They all seem to look alike, yet there are over 50 different species in North and South America alone. Even though sparrows seem very insignificant, God says that He considers them valuable and is in control of their lives.
We live in a fearful world. You may think of yourself as an insignificant speck in a sea of humanity, yet God says, "do not fear, I'm watching over you and you are valuable to me". (Mattthew 10:31)
Are you fearful? Meditate on these promises from God, then take a good look at the birds!
Prayer: "Lord, thank you for reminding me of your love and care for me. Thank you that I do not have to be afraid. In Jesus' Name, Amen."
Blessings!

Do you have a craving for God's Word? (see I Peter 2:2)
Jesus promised a "blessed and satisfied life for those who seek His righteousness!" Begin today!
Prayer: "Lord, give me a spiritual hunger and thirst for you. In Jesus' Name, Amen."
